Description

Delicious and flavorful grilled chicken skewers marinated in olive oil, lemon juice, and spices.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. The aroma should already feel warm and inviting.
  2. Add the chicken pieces and toss until every piece is well coated. This is where the magic begins.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. For deeper flavor, marinate for up to 8 hours.
  4. Thread the chicken onto skewers or keep loose if cooking in a pan.
  5. Grill over medium-high heat for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and lightly charred.

Notes

  • For best results, marinate the chicken for the full 8 hours.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or alongside a fresh salad.
