Description

Delicious buffalo chicken wings cooked in a slow cooker and broiled for a crispy finish.


Ingredients

  • 4 lbs chicken wings (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 1/2 cups buffalo sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken wings in the slow cooker.
  2. Combine the buffalo sauce, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper together in a small bowl.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken wings.
  4. Cover and cook the wings on low for 5-6 hours or cook on high for 2 hours.
  5. When finished, line a baking sheet with foil and place the chicken wings on the baking sheet.
  6. Preheat oven and broil for 5-10 minutes (flipping halfway) until they begin to brown.
  7. Serve immediately or place them back in the crock pot on the keep warm setting to serve them!

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add cayenne pepper to the sauce mixture.
  • Make sure to adjust the cooking time based on the size of the chicken wings.
  • These wings can be served with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.
