- 2 8-ounce packages of cream cheese, softened
- 4 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 ounces of pepper jack cheese, shredded
- 3/4 cup of pepper jelly
- 1/4 teaspoon of dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of celery salt
- 1/2 tablespoon of dried minced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried parsley
- 2 tablespoons of thinly sliced fresh chives
Instructions
- Soften and whip the cream cheese until light and fluffy using a hand mixer or stand mixer.
- Add all the seasonings and herbs except for the chives and mix to combine.
- Gradually incorporate the shredded sharp cheddar and pepper jack cheeses until fully blended.
- Whip the mixture for about a minute on high until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the mixture into a dish, cover, and refrigerate overnight to meld the flavors.
- Before serving, let it sit for about an hour, then spread pepper jelly on top.
- Garnish with fresh chives.
