Description

A delicious and easy chicken casserole made with shredded chicken, creamy soup, and a crunchy topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed (about 30 crackers)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Combine crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter in a bowl until coated.
  5. Sprinkle the buttery cracker mixture evenly over the casserole.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until hot and bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
