A delicious and creamy cheesy potato casserole that’s easy to make and perfect for any gathering.

- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 15 oz condensed cream of chicken soup
- 3 cups frozen cubed potatoes, thawed
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 2 cups corn-flakes cereal
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 7×11″ or 9×9″ baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, mix the thawed potatoes, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Crush the corn flakes in a plastic food storage bag and then mix with melted butter in a small bowl.
- Spoon the buttery corn flakes evenly over the potato mixture.
- Bake uncovered for about 35 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- This casserole is best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Feel free to add cooked bacon or other vegetables for extra flavor.
