Description

  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg (large)
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the meat sauce by sautéing onion and garlic, browning meat, and simmering with tomatoes.
  2. Mix ricotta, egg, Parmesan, and seasoning for the cheese layer.
  3. Cook lasagna noodles until al dente.
  4. Layer sauce, noodles, cheese mixture, and mozzarella in a baking dish.
  5. Bake covered, then uncovered until bubbly and golden.
  6. Rest before slicing and serving.
