Description

A delicious grilled flank steak marinated with lime and spices, perfect for a summer BBQ.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 3 limes (juiced)
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, chili powder, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable bag, pour the marinade over it, seal tightly, and marinate in the fridge for at least one hour.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade (discard any leftover marinade) and grill for about 6-7 minutes per side for medium-rare or until desired doneness.
  5. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes on a cutting board before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
  6. Serve hot with fresh cilantro on top.
