Description

This air fryer flank steak and broccoli dish is both simple and satisfying, ensuring the meat remains tender and flavorful.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and beef broth. Stir until smooth.
  2. Add the sliced beef to the sauce and let it marinate for about 15–20 minutes.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Toss the broccoli florets with olive oil and a pinch of pepper. Place them in the air fryer basket and cook for about 5 minutes until they begin to crisp and brighten in color.
  5. Remove the broccoli and set it aside.
  6. Add the marinated beef to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 6–8 minutes, shaking halfway through, until the beef is cooked through and slightly caramelized on the edges.
  7. Finally, return the broccoli to the basket and toss everything together. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes so the sauce thickens and coats every piece beautifully.
  8. When you open the air fryer, the aroma is rich and inviting.

Notes

  • Thin slices ensure the meat cooks quickly and stays tender.
  • Allowing the beef to marinate enhances the flavors significantly.
  • The dish is best enjoyed fresh from the air fryer for optimal taste and texture.
