Description
This delicious Garlic Butter Salmon and Asparagus is easy to prepare and packed with flavor. A perfect weeknight dinner!

- 2 salmon fillets
- 1 bunch asparagus spears, trimmed
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 4 lemon slices
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and prepare a second large sheet of foil for wrapping.
- Place asparagus in the center of the foil, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and stir in minced garlic, lemon juice, and zest.
- Place salmon fillets on top of the asparagus. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the salmon and top with lemon slices.
- Fold foil over the salmon and seal to make a packet. Place the packet on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, depending on thickness. Optionally broil uncovered for 2-3 minutes for a golden top.
- Carefully open the foil, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot with pan juices spooned over.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh salmon fillets.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the salmon.
