Description

Delicious chocolate crinkle cookies that are soft, chewy, and coated in powdered sugar.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup salted butter (2 sticks)
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar (with or without a little Nesquick mixed in!)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line your cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, add the butter and sugar and beat for about 3 minutes, until it’s very creamy. Be sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, until well-blended.
  4. Add the flour mixture and beat on low until combined well. It will be a stiff dough.
  5. Roll the dough into 1” balls. Dip them into the powdered sugar and place on the cookie sheets about 2” apart.
  6. Bake for 10-11 minutes. Allow them to cool for a minute on the cookie sheet, then transfer to a cooling rack.
  7. Eat them while they’re warm with a glass of milk!

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can mix in some chocolate chips.
  • Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
