Description
A delicious combination of Honey BBQ Chicken paired with Creamy Garlic Parmesan Potatoes that is both inviting and flavorful.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 pounds baby potatoes, halved
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread the halved baby potatoes on a baking dish or sheet pan. Their golden edges will become the base of that creamy garlic flavor later.
- Drizzle the potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss well so every piece is coated. Roast them for about 25 minutes until they begin turning golden and tender.
- While the potatoes roast, mix the barbecue sauce, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. The honey adds a glossy sweetness that balances the smoky barbecue flavor. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and coat them generously with the honey BBQ mixture.
- Bake the chicken in the oven for about 20–25 minutes until fully cooked and glazed. The sauce will caramelize slightly, creating a sticky and flavorful coating.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about one minute until fragrant. Pour in the cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
- Remove the roasted potatoes from the oven and pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over them. Toss gently to coat every piece in that rich, creamy goodness.
- Serve the glazed chicken alongside the creamy potatoes and sprinkle fresh parsley on top for color and freshness. When plated together, Honey BBQ Chicken & Creamy Garlic Parmesan Potatoes looks just as inviting as it tastes.
