Description

A quick and easy recipe for homemade whipped cream.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cold heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Chill bowl and beaters for 15 minutes before beginning.
  2. Add heavy whipping cream to the bowl.
  3. Beat until just beginning to thicken. You should be able to see tracks in the cream.
  4. Add the vanilla and powdered sugar.
  5. Continue beating until whipped cream reaches desired consistency. Do not overwhip or it will begin to turn to butter.
  6. Chill any leftover whipped cream.
