Instructions
- Toast the sourdough bread until golden brown and crispy.
- While the bread is toasting, cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, scoop into a bowl, and mash lightly with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Generously spread the mashed avocado on the toasted bread.
- Layer slices of smoked salmon over the avocado spread.
- Garnish with thinly sliced red onion and capers.
