Description

Delicious potato rosti layered with smoked salmon and crème fraîche, garnished with fresh dill.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium starchy potatoes (Russets), peeled and grated
  • 200g high-quality smoked salmon, sliced
  • 100g crème fraîche
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Squeeze excess moisture from grated potatoes using a clean kitchen towel.
  2. In a bowl, combine grated potatoes with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder.
  3. Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  4. Form small patties from the potato mixture and fry until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
  5. Layer each rosti with slices of smoked salmon, dollops of crème fraîche, and garnish with fresh dill.
